Database Integration
MySQL 4.0.20 with InnoDB
The MySQL relational database management system runs on our dedicated Dual Intel Xeon database servers, freeing processor and memory of resource-hungry web server software.
 With InnoDB, MySQL is a fully transactional database server, offering:
- standard SQL support and MySQL extensions
- extremely fast operation, through memory-based hash tables, thread-based memory allocation and optimised one-sweep multi-joins massive scalability (according to your Fasthosts database storage allocation)
- transaction-safe (ACID compliant) storage engine
- commit, rollback, and crash recovery
- multi-user concurrency and performance
- Oracle-style consistent non-locking read in SELECT statements.
Shared secure server
Enable your customers to run e-commerce and other secure web applications, using 10 MB of SSL shared web space. Employing full 128-bit encryption, as used by major corporations, they can run fully secured web transactions. Certificates are issued by the universally trusted Thawte certificate authority.

Viruses are intercepted in real-time, following heuristic scanning of all inbound and outbound email, to identify and remove suspect attachments and malformed messages. Even archived files are searched, ensuring your email is trustworthy.

Each email is checked against a set of criteria and depending on your chosen filter strength, is determined to be spam or legitimate email. You choose whether the filter adds "SPAM" to the front of suspect emails’; subject lines, or deletes the email entirely.

* This e-mail and spam filtering service must be used in conjunction with your own pc and/or server based protection. Our solutions provide an added level of security and provide tools that you can administer yourself to train your e-mail package as to what e-mails you don not wish to receive. AGILE MARKETING can and will not accept any liability for any virus or spam attacks that you have. Our solutions are designed to help you to minimise your risk.
 Load balanced server
For websites with very high website traffic, we are able to provide true load balancing, on shared hosting packages. Your sites can be hosted on multiple servers, with browser requests seamlessly distributed to the machine with most capacity at that moment.
